Typical Business Administration concentrations at CSU campuses may include but are not limited to Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Risk Management, Operations Management, Real Estate, and Information Management.\nStudents should be aware that although not required to complete this program, many CSU campuses require students to take Introduction to Computer Information Systems CIS-1 during their first two years. Business Administration for Transfer majors should explore CSU degree requirements and plan their transfer paths accordingly. At a minimum, all transfer students should be fluent with functions and applications of spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel. Universities and colleges outside the CSU system may have different requirements for their Business or related programs.\nThe Business Department also offers an A.S. degree in General Business that is not tailored to the transfer requirements of a CSU business program. That degree may be a more appropriate choice, depending on the student\u0026rsquo;s career or educational plans. In all cases, students should consult with a counselor for more information on degree requirements, or university admission and transfer requirements."},"ceterms:subjectWebpage":"https://chaffey.programmapper.com/academics/interest-clusters/8c518b91-3ad0-41d1-b679-f14328f09ee2/programs/8cd12e99-4932-b8b3-7aaa-5b5161645efe","ceterms:credentialStatusType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CredentialStatus","ceterms:targetNode":"credentialStat:Active","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Credential Status"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Active"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Awards of the credential are ongoing."}},"ceterms:instructionalProgramType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/Default.aspx?y=56","ceterms:targetNode":"https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/cipdetail.aspx?y=56\u0026cip=52.0201","ceterms:codedNotation":"52.0201","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Classification of Instructional Programs"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Business Administration and Management, General"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"A program that generally prepares individuals to plan, organize, direct, and control the functions and processes of a firm or organization.
