They start advising you at the beginning of your freshman year, and that support continues throughout your entire time at KU. Kutztown University's Biology Department has advisors who help students with their academic decision-making as soon as they arrive on campus. Then, KU's coursework emphasizes hands-on learning in the lab alongside close interaction with our faculty. KU also has a standing Pre-medical Committee that provides letters of recommendation for students who are applying to medical, veterinary medical, or dental schools. While some universities charge students a fee for advising services related to the application process and/or committee letters of recommendation, Kutztown University provides these services for free.\nStudent Success: Thanks to the ongoing support provided by KU's relatively small program, students have found strong success gaining entrance into medical school.
