Students of history use various aspects of the social sciences and humanities to understand the development of our universe. Students of history will analyze texts critically, evaluate and form judgments on past historical events, and communicate their conclusions in spoken and written form.  Through Transfer Pathways, students enrolled at a Minnesota State College will be able to select from over 30 fields that will prepare them to complete related four-year bachelor's degrees at any Minnesota State universities offering a degree in that field. Students who complete the transfer degree will be guaranteed junior status upon admission to the university. The student will still need to meet any special admission requirement for the major.
