The goal of pediatric primary care is to achieve physical, emotional and developmental health for all children. They will instructed about immunization, proper nutrition and safety counseling. They will also be given instructions on pediatric care techniques: nursing child with fever, proper approach of administering medications to children and their considerations. They will be taught accident prevention, poisoning prevention, communicable disease prevention, child abuse and neglect will also be discussed. They will be taught how to take care of the sick child. The second day will be geared to BLS certification in accordance to the curriculum of the American Heart association.
