The course of\nstudy includes the basic principles of educational and\ndevelopmental psychology; the art of observing, teach -\ning and guiding young children; planning and administra -\ntion of developmentally appropriate inclusive educational\nactivities; school safety and health issues; and the social\nand emotional foundations of early care and education.\nStudents completing this program have the potential\nof obtaining occupations in educational settings such\nas infant/toddler caregivers; preschool teachers; fam-\nily home childcare providers; master teachers, site super-\nvisors, program directors, child life specialists, and social\nservices workers.
