Instruction includes courses in servicing vehicles, learning to diagnose and repair brakes, starting and charging systems, electrical service, engine overhaul, fuel systems, driveline and differential, automatic, transmissions, and air conditioning.\r\n\r\nProgram graduates earn 36 credit hours and receive the State of Michigan Automotive Service Excellence Medium/Heaving Duty certification for diesel engine, electrical/electronic systems, brakes, preventative maintenance, suspension and steering and heating and air conditioning.\r\n\r\nTraining is comprised of 70% hands-on instruction and 30% classroom instruction.  Courses are offered full-time/evenings.
