Students who complete this program will be prepared to apply for the FAA oral, written, and practical exams for the Airframe and Powerplant Technician License.  The Aviation Technology program places major emphasis on the study of actual aircraft, structures, and powerplants and related systems. The 21-month curriculum includes one summer session and covers a wide variety of subjects concerned with airplanes: reciprocating engines, turbines, fuel systems, propellers, ignition, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
