The goal of the program is to provide a background in mathematics that will prepare students for the rigors of a four-year math degree. After completion, students can transfer seamlessly into a Bachelor of Mathematics Studies with a junior level status in the receiving CSCU institution as part of the CSCU transfer ticket program.\r\nStudents who earn an Associate of Arts degree in Mathematics Studies from the Connecticut State Community College can transfer their degree to either the Central Connecticut State University (CCSU), Eastern Connecticut State University (ECSU), Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), Western Connecticut State University (WCSU), or Charter Oak State College (COSC). Students will be credited as meeting the General Education requirements. Students must remain in the corresponding Mathematics major program for the following bachelor's degrees:CCSU- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Mathematics- B.A. Mathematics - Actuarial Science Specialization- B.A. Mathematics - Statistics Specialization\r\nECSU- B.A. Mathematics - Structures \u0026amp; Applications- B.A. Mathematics - Math for Teachers- Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
