To meet these goals, our major emphasizes practical applications and service learning experiences. It equips students to be world changers through the power of the Spanish language.\n\nApplied Spanish and Hispanic Cultures majors complete courses covering the language, history, culture, and literature of Spanish-speaking countries, as well as Spanish electives and a foreign study experience. Additionally, students complete a cognate in another field such as History, Religion, Intercultural Studies, or a second foreign language.
