The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board approves the field of study in Sociology included in this degree. This degree plan will constitute a semester credit hour transfer block to any public Texas four-year college or university with a Sociology Major. Transferring students shall not be required to repeat courses transferred as part of the field of study curriculum. Completion of the field of study curriculum shall not prevent a receiving institution from requiring additional lower-division courses that may be necessary for specific degree programs. Because of the complexity of requirements, students must plan very carefully and work with an advisor/counselor to verify the transferability of Dallas College Sociology courses prior to applying to a university."},"ceterms:subjectWebpage":"https://catalog.dallascollege.edu/preview_program.php?catoid=2\u0026poid=593","ceterms:credentialStatusType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CredentialStatus","ceterms:targetNode":"credentialStat:Active","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Credential Status"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Active"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Awards of the credential are ongoing."}}}
