Our courses are taught by certified instructors in a blended classroom and hands-on/virtual lab approach.  Students in this class will study in the Cisco Academy, working toward the CCNA certification that will give students a broad range of fundamental knowledge for all IT careers. Through a combination of lecture, hands-on labs, and self-study, students will learn how to install, operate, configure, and verify basic IPv4 and IPv6 networks. The course covers configuring network components such as switches, routers, and wireless LAN controllers; managing network devices; and identifying basic security threats. The course also gives students a foundation in network programmability, automation, and software-defined networking. \r\nStudents will receive certificates after completing each section of the Cisco curriculum, preparing for the following certification exam: 200-301 Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®) exam. \r\nAlso, for this program, the Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MDAA®) certification will provide baseline education and testing for professionals interested in network infrastructure, configuration, and maintenance. These skills include securing, deployment, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of Windows client applications in an enterprise environment. The curriculum from Microsoft for the MDAA certification offers classroom learning, supported by online, on-demand study materials and virtual labs.  Students will utilize the Microsoft Windows 10 enabled desktops during class and will have access to the curriculum and information for study and work outside of class.  Students will receive certificates after completing each section of the Microsoft curriculum, preparing for the following certification exams: MD-100: Windows 10 and MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops.  \r\n\r\nAdditionally, the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation 4 certification provides students with an introduction to IT service management from an end-to-end operational model for the creation, delivery, and continual improvement of tech-enabled products and services. \r\n\r\nStudents will schedule and take each exam at an authorized Pearson Vue testing locations.
