No additional work experience is required.\r\n\r\nICB Preparatory Program: Students will be waived from the 2nd practicum (HUS 276); however, upon completion of the program, there is a work experience requirement in order to earn the CADC.\r\n\r\nAccording to ICB/IAODAPCA regulations, students who wish to earn their CADC through the Advanced Program must possess a minimum of an associate degree in human services or another behavioral science from an accredited institution of higher education. Students who do not meet this requirement should complete the A.A.S. in Addiction Counseling and Treatment, Plan 25HD, or complete this certificate as a Preparatory Program.\r\n\r\nIn order to be admitted to this option, student must first meet with department faculty. Up to 15 credit hours of prerequisite courses may be transferred from another institution with the permission of the Human Services department chair, upon submission and review of transcripts indicating successful completion.
