These courses develop communication and writing skills; supply sociocultural, psychological, and developmental perspectives; and provide a basic analysis of anatomical, physiological, and microbiological characteristics of humans. Students may take general education courses prior to or concurrently with nursing courses. Graduates receive the associate degree in Nursing and are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
