The goal of this program is to strengthen student skills in all areas. The focus of the first-year core curriculum is to explore communication in the various modalities and languages of theatrical design as well as development of storytelling skills, whether it be through the generating of technical drawings, the expressive communication of a sketch, the construction of a scenic model, or setting moving image to music.
