Phlebotomy techniques and EKG techniques are additional along with professional development. Students are prepared to provide services to patients at several facilities. Typical job duties of a PCT are taking vital signs, assisting during medical exams, and changing dressings. There may be instances of CNA responsibilities being performed like cleaning patients. Furthermore, students will acquire skills in performing safety checks, obtaining keg readings, monitoring vital signs, performing phlebotomy procedures, and supporting emotional support to families
