Program is program is designed to provide students the basic skills and knowledge to work as a Pharmacy Technician and assume entry-level management responsibilities in a pharmacy. \n\nThe course work for both the certificate of program completion and the A.S. Degree fulfill the Indiana training requirement for Pharmacy Technicians and prepare students to take the National Pharmacy Technician Exam. Vincennes University students do well on this examination and are sought by pharmacies in this area. Although certification is not required in every state, it is required in the State of Indiana.\n\nAs part of Governor Holcomb's Next Level Jobs initiative, the Workforce Ready Grant program provides free training for working-age Hoosiers in the state's highest demand jobs.
