Upon successful\ncompletion of this program, the student will have an exten-\nsive background in the principles and practices of the busi-\nness world.\nStudents will accuire a broad fundamental knowledge of\nthe theory and practice of business and the skills needed\nto successfully apply their knowledge in a professional\nenvironment.\nAfter completing an Associate in Science in Business\nAdministration 2.0 for Transfer Degree, students will be able\nto: 1) Prepare a business plan. 2) Analyze and explain human\nrelations and their implication for management and their\nemployees. 3) Evaluate the use of financial budgeting con -\ncepts to make sound decisions in managing their personal\nfinances. 4) Write a short essay in response to a given topic\non the major concepts of a business organization from\nthe following: management, marketing, finances, human\nresources, ecoconomics, legal forms of bussiness own-\nership and international global environments. 5) Demon-\nstrate an industry standard skill-set when using relevant\ntechnology sources.\nTo be awarded the Associate in Science in Business Admin-\nistration 2.0 for Transfer Degree, students must adhere to\nthe Associate Degree for Transfer requirements: 1) Com-\nplete 60 semester units or 90 quarter units which are eli-\ngible for transfer to the California State University (CSU)\nsystem, including both of the following: (a) the Interseg-\nmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) or\nthe California State University General Education - Breadth\nRequirements. b) A minimum of 18 semester units or 27\nquarter units in a major or area of emphasis as determined\nby the community college district. 2) Obtain a minimum\ngrade point average of 2.0.
