The program helps to develop candidates to engage in inquiry, research, dialogue, team learning, reflection, problem-based learning, collaboration, and standards-based assessment from a comprehensive P-12 perspective. The certificate satisfies Indiana's program of study for an ENL P-12 license addition. For licensure in Indiana, one or more courses may be used for inclusion in the Indiana EL Teacher of Record rubric. Clinical field experiences are required. \nThis program is a pathway for training for those who wish to take the Indiana ENL assessment. In addition, this program is open to candidates from all states and countries. This could include teachers and leaders in the following schools: International schools, ACSI schools both stateside and overseas, Charter schools, and Private schools. The certificate may also appeal to traditional public school teachers who only want license renewal or refresh or continuing education, but have no interest in additional licensure. Candidates are responsible for determining how the certificate could be applied towards professional development, advancement, or renewal, without additional licensing."},"ceterms:subjectWebpage":"https://www.indwes.edu/adult-graduate/programs/certificate-english-new-language","ceterms:availableOnlineAt":["https://www.indwes.edu/adult-graduate/programs/certificate-english-new-language"],"ceterms:availabilityListing":["https://www.indwes.edu/adult-graduate/programs/certificate-english-new-language"],"ceterms:credentialStatusType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CredentialStatus","ceterms:targetNode":"credentialStat:Active","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"CredentialStatus"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Active"}}}
