The content includes but is not limited to communication and interpersonal skills, legal and ethical responsibilities, anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, microbiology, aseptic techniques, patient care procedures, surgical technology procedures, patient safety, use and care of equipment and supplies, CPR, employability skills, and basic computer literacy. The program is full time enrollment with two enrollment options in Fall or Spring semester. Program hours are Monday- Friday 8AM - 4PM. Graduates of this program will be prepared for employment as surgical technologists. They will possess the knowledge of and assist with surgical procedures.
