Upon completion, you will receive a Bachelor of Science in Advanced Manufacturing degree that bridges the gap between 2-year associate degrees and 4-year engineering degrees. The AM curriculum variety of courses and experiences will prepare you for entry into the manufacturing industries. Building on Core 39 courses, the AM curriculum provides a foundation from mathematics to the survey of calculus level, English language, communications, the sciences and ethics. You'll learn analytic skills and gain hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing engineering technologies, and computer-aided design and modeling. Gaining real-world industrial experience is easy enough because of USI's Applied Engineering Center (AEC) and state of the art industrial equipment. The focus of the AEC is on applying and implementing technology with a practical, hands-on approach for solving real-world manufacturing problems.\n\nAs an AM graduate, you will be highly sought after by local, regional, and national firms engaged in manufacturing, fabrication, construction and technical sales. AM graduates enjoy an attractive range of assignments."},"ceterms:subjectWebpage":"https://www.usi.edu/science/engineering/programs/bachelor-of-science-in-manufacturing-engineering-technology","ceterms:estimatedDuration":[{"@type":"ceterms:DurationProfile","ceterms:exactDuration":"P4Y"}],"ceterms:credentialStatusType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CredentialStatus","ceterms:targetNode":"credentialStat:Active","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Credential Status"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Active"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Awards of the credential are ongoing."}},"ceterms:learningDeliveryType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/Delivery","ceterms:targetNode":"deliveryType:InPerson","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Delivery Type"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"In-Person Only"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Delivery is only face-to-face."}}],"ceterms:instructionalProgramType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/Default.aspx?y=56","ceterms:targetNode":"https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/cipdetail.aspx?y=56\u0026cip=15.0613","ceterms:codedNotation":"15.0613","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Classification of Instructional Programs"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Technician"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"A program that prepares individuals to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills to the identification and resolution of production problems in the manufacture of products.
