Consideration is given to caring for the elderly, short-term patient care, caring for a surgical patient, and caring for the terminally ill or ambulatory patient. Students are required to participate in a clinical learning experience under the supervision of the instructor. Students will also participate in CPR Training and (6) hours of CDT training. Upon completion of this portion of the program, the student will receive a CPR card.
