We also realize that people's goals in aviation are varied as is their background and ability to finance flight and academic training. Some people aspire to fly for large airlines or become pilot managers and need a four-year degree while others need certification to work in general aviation or will want to start a local aviation business and only need a two-year degree. In addition, people with two or four year degrees wanting to fly may only need pilot certification. Flexibility in course offerings and local and distant delivery strategies is important to be able to fulfill the mission. Every graduate, however, should meet the expectations in the mastery of basic general education to be successful and good citizens to earn the two-year degree."},"ceterms:accreditedBy":["https://credentialengineregistry.org/resources/ce-20b0d337-c2de-43b5-a994-d3f4bfc70b78"],"ceterms:occupationType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://www.onetcenter.org/taxonomy.html","ceterms:targetNode":"https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/53-2011.00","ceterms:codedNotation":"53-2011.00","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Standard Occupational Classification"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Airline Pilots, Copilots, and Flight Engineers"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Pilot and navigate the flight of fixed-wing, multi-engine aircraft, usually on scheduled air carrier routes, for the transport of passengers and cargo.
