The program curriculum will provide students with a solid understanding of the fundamental programming techniques, algorithms and data structures, and the mathematical computation and quantitative reasoning skills that underpin the work done in the field of computer science. Students will be exposed to and engage with a variety of relevant and emerging topics in the field, such as industry-standard programming languages and tools, operating systems, systems architecture and design, the stages of the software development lifecycle, mobile applications, software security concepts, and full stack development. In addition, students will gain insight into and develop skills related to ethical and legal considerations in the field, issues of informed judgment and decision making, team dynamics and leadership, and communication and collaboration. As a part of their coursework, students will develop a digital portfolio of artifacts that demonstrates their technical skills, as well as the ability to speak to and defend their design decisions and solutions to various audiences and in various formats. Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science will be flexible and creative computer science practitioners prepared for various careers in both the public and private sectors, as well as for government agencies at the local and national levels."},"ceterms:subjectWebpage":"https://www.snhu.edu/online-degrees/bachelors/bs-in-computer-science","ceterms:audienceLevelType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/AudienceLevel","ceterms:targetNode":"audLevel:AssociatesDegreeLevel","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Audience Level"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Associates Degree Level"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Intended for those completing college/university-level programs within their first one to two years (lower-division) of post-secondary education."}},{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/AudienceLevel","ceterms:targetNode":"audLevel:BachelorsDegreeLevel","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Audience Level"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Bachelors Degree Level"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Intended for those completing college/university-level programs within approximately three to four years where course work and activities advance skills from a lower-division or generalist level to an upper-division level."}}],"ceterms:availableOnlineAt":["https://www.snhu.edu"],"ceterms:credentialStatusType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CredentialStatus","ceterms:targetNode":"credentialStat:Active","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Credential Status"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Active"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Awards of the credential are ongoing."}},"ceterms:learningDeliveryType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/Delivery","ceterms:targetNode":"deliveryType:OnlineOnly","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Delivery Type"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Online Only"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Delivery is only via the Internet."}}],"ceterms:assessmentDeliveryType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/Delivery","ceterms:targetNode":"deliveryType:OnlineOnly","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Delivery Type"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Online Only"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Delivery is only via the Internet."}}]}
