Associate of Arts Degree Graduation Requirements: 1. All students must satisfactorily complete at least 61 credit hours of approved courses, a minimum of 20 hours of which must be completed at Columbus State. Approved courses are designated below. Satisfactory completion requires a final grade of A, B, C, or D. Transfer credit may be awarded for courses in which a \u0026ldquo;C\u0026rdquo; or better has been earned at other accredited institutions, or a \u0026ldquo;D\u0026rdquo; or better from public Ohio institutions, if the course level equivalencies have been approved by the Dean of Arts and Sciences. Courses listed in the \u0026ldquo;Ohio Transfer 36\u0026rdquo; or \u0026ldquo;Transfer Assurance Guides\u0026rdquo; of an Ohio college have been pre-approved for credit toward a Columbus State degree. Credits by examination, proficiency credit, non-traditional credit, and transfer credit do not apply toward meeting residency credit hour requirements. 2. All students must attain an overall grade point average of 2.0 or better for all college level courses completed at Columbus State. Grade point averages are calculated on the following scale: A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, E=0. Number equivalencies are not assigned for grades other than these. 3. All students must complete the following 36 hour Ohio Transfer 36 requirements, plus 25 hours of additional coursework specificed on the following pages. Ohio Transfer 36 (OT36) courses are noted with the \u0026quot;+\u0026quot; symbol. Ohio Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG) courses are noted with the \u0026quot;^\u0026quot; symbol. 4. The University Transfer Center hosts visits from advisors and representatives from other colleges and universities to discuss completion of the bachelor\u0026rsquo;s degree with students following graduation from Columbus State. The University Transfer Center also sponsors fairs and events that inform students about their transfer options and maintains all the transfer pathways and guides.
