Second-year students learn what it takes to serve in public safety career fields such as the courts, police, firefighter, and emergency medical services, leadership, and cooperative learning/internships are a required part of their second-year program. The program studies are academically rigorous preparing students for a career in public safety and criminal justice fields.\n\nThis program can alternatively be completed in one year, though credentials available may require participation for two years.\n\nThis program includes or prepares for the following credential(s): ACT National Career Readiness Certificate.
