Successful graduates of this specialization are prepared to work as reading specialists, reading or literacy coaches, or supervisors or coordinators of reading/literacy programs. The EdD Reading and Literacy specialization is structured using a cohort model. Beginning in their first quarter, learners register for their courses in a prescribed sequence, progressing through their program with the same group of learners.
