Learning experiences will include laboratory practice on artificial arms and extensive clinical experience at area medical facilities. Students completing all classroom and clinical requirements will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association Phlebotomy (CPT) certification examination. The cost of this exam is included in the program.\nCollege Pathways: Upon credential attainment, you may be eligible for up to 3 college credits toward an Atlantic Cape Health Science degree.\nNote: Students are required to achieve a minimum number of sticks during the Phlebotomy module. Under supervision, students practice Phlebotomy draws on fellow students. Clinical sites may require students to show proof of adequate health insurance before starting a clinical internship.
