Theory topics such as, safety, leak detection (gas, oil, and electric)heating systems, combustion testing, heat pumps, refrigerant recovery, and disposal will recovered. During the second semester, hands-on training reinforces the material covered in the classes. This helps prepare the student to enter the trade and builds confidence in the student's understanding of HVAC concepts. Computer-based training is also provided for a self-paced study, as well as additional theory instruction.
