With the Medical Billing and Coding Specialist (MBCS) program, students will gain the skills needed to enter one of the fastest growing fields in allied health as a medical billing specialist, medical coder, or medical office manager. In this program, students will gain hands-on, practical experience working with the main coding manuals in the field, the ICD-9-CM and ICD -10 CM and the CPT.\nStudents will also master the legal, ethical, and regulatory concepts that are central to this field. Upon successful completion of the course, Students will receive a Certificate of Completion from the school.\nStudents will take the National Healthcare Association (NHA)'s\nCertified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification examination.
