Some topics that are covered are pharmacy law, interpreting prescriptions,  computer entry, defining drugs by brand and generic names and their common side-effects, ethics, inventory control, routes of administration, sterile and non-sterile compounding. This course will also cover the common pharmacy math calculations used in hospital and retail pharmacy that is also tested on the PTCE.
