It is in partnership with Hennepin County, Dakota County, Ramsey County, Normandale Community College, and Adult Education. The program will build professional skills and computer skills required for the position of Human Services Representative or Finanacial Worker 1. There is also a two-week hands-on job shadow experience. The National Federation Foundation RISE UP Certification is administered during the class. RISE UP is a training and credentialing program that provides foundational employability skills to help people land jobs and get promoted in retail stores and beyond. The curriculum and exams are industry recognized and were developed in collaboration with more than twenty retailers. This program will prepare you for positions in the Human Services field. Plus earn credits from Normandale upon class completion.
