Similar to part I of this sequence, this course also utilizes Rockwell Softwares RSLogix 500 software application package, running under the Windows operating system.  This course will investigate the advanced features and functions of the AB model SLC-5/02, 5/04, and a variety of AB MicroLogix PLCs.  What primarily distinguished this course from the prior course is that Analog programming techniques, program control (jumps and subroutines), PLC networking, and data manipulation will be explored in addition to the discrete techniques that were explored earlier.      This is a chiefly a hands-on, lab-oriented, project study course. Weekly preparatory lectures will ready the student to work with each new programming instruction set.  Each lecture is followed by a weekly instructor-guided student laboratory assignment designed to challenge the student to actually explore and implement these new programming instructions. Linear Analog Equations including Slope, Y-intercepts, Linear Interpolation, and Algebraic Manipulation  11. Analog Input and Output  12. The Sequencer  13. Shift Registers  14. Forcing Inputs and Outputs  15. The Temporary End Instruction  16. Selectable Timed Interrupts  17. Programming the PanelView Human-Machine Interface Touch Screen using the PanelBuilder32 Software  18.
