This flexible program is supervised by a Registered Nurse and includes both in-person and online learning to accommodate the busy life demands of our students.\nThe course will provide extensive training in Certified Home Health Aide, the curriculum covers all competencies required by the Board of Nursing of the State of New Jersey, i.e. basic human needs, home environment prevention and safety, basic concepts of child and the elderly, how to handle issues related to mental health, and terminally ill patients. Upon completion of this course and the passing of the skills test the candidate will receive a certification from the New Jersey Department of Nursing. BrightStar Care of Hunterdon will consider employment in the Registered Apprenticeship Program for students who complete the training program and have passed the final exam.
