This introductory workshop will go over the next steps after an entrepreneur experiences an epiphany to start a business. Participants will learn all types of entrepreneurial ventures from non-profits, for-profits, franchises, and create a draft business plan. Entrepreneurs will create a first-draft business plan.\n \nReimagine Money - Entrepreneurial Financing (3 hours): Part I\n● Financial Modeling and Accounting: This workshop will deliver an introduction of financial projections and reading basic financial spreadsheets and statements. Entrepreneurs will create a basic 18 - 24-month financial plan for their small business idea. \n\nReimagine Money - Entrepreneurial Financing (3hrs) Part II.\n● Access to Capital, Investment Strategy and Pitch Decks: This workshop will teach participants how to raise capital based on their type of business through traditional financing, non-dilutive grants, venture capital, angel investing, crowdfunding. The second hour of the workshop will cover pitch decks.\n\nReimagine Markets - Sizing and Competitive Landscaping (3 hours):\n● TAM, SAM, SOM: This workshop will breakdown the basics of market research, market sizing, navigating market opportunities, blue oceans, frontier markets, and how to size up competition through analysis. Entrepreneurs will learn how to create a Total Available Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) and competitive analysis   \n\nReimagine Operations - Talent, Workflow, and Legal (3hrs):\n● Humans Run the World: This workshop will breakdown the basics of human resources, incorporating talent into new ventures, how to hire, recruit, interview, onboard new staff, and be COVID-compliant (if applicable). Legal: (3hrs) This workshop will cover Legal Essentials all businesses face whether they are a LLC, LLP, S-Corp, C- Corp, B-Corp, etc. Entrepreneurs will learn how to incorporate, maintain their status, required annual filings, and basic legal pitfalls that can tank a business.\n\nReimagine Growth - Sales, Business Development and Go-to-Market (3 hours):\n● Selling Your Products and Services: (3hrs) This workshop will breakdown the basics of Sales 101 and how entrepreneurs create pricing, distribution strategies, partnership, and pipelines to sell their products. (3hrs) \n● Procurement 101: (3hrs) This workshop will cover procurement opportunities offered through local, city, state, and federal government contracts, and other contracting opportunities. Entrepreneurs will learn the value of MWBE/SDVOB certifications, apply for opportunities, and monitor contract requirements. \n \nMarketing / Go-to-Market Strategies (3hrs): \n● This workshop will teach participants the basics of marketing, product, pricing, placement, and promotions, and why marketing is important to drive sales.  \n\nReimagine Planning - Business Plan (3 hours):\n● Build a Business Plan: This workshop will revisit the business plan created in week one and entrepreneurs will learn how to incorporate new findings from previous weeks into their business plan.
