Through its Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeship Program, Hudson County Community College will introduce participants to advanced manufacturing concepts, beginning with a Pre-apprenticeship Bootcamp. The Bootcamp will be seven weeks and cover such topics, including but not limited to Shop Basics, Shop and Safety Lectures, Introduction to CAD and Manual Machining Basics, and Introduction to Computer Numeric Control (CNC).  Provided a participant completes Bootcamp, he/she will be eligible for the CNC program.  The CNC program is unique because it will be a hybrid model (on-the-ground and remote (self-paced) learning).  Using the e-Learning system, participants will combine subject matter content with real-time simulations that may lead to industry-recognized
