Informa\u0002tion on which CSU campuses accept this degree can be found at https://adegreewithaguarantee.com/ PROGRAM INFORMATION Upon successful completion of the Los Angeles Pierce College Associate in Science in Mathematics for Transfer degree require\u0002ments, the student will have demonstrated an understanding of Calculus of one and several variables, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, and Mechanics. This coursework will satisfy the lower division mathematics requirements at the some of the California State University campuses. To complete the degree, students must fulfill the following Associate Degree for Transfer requirements (pursuant to SB1440): • Completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units that are eligible for transfer to a California State University. • The Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) or the California State University General Education - Breadth Requirements. • A minimum of 18 semester units or 27 quarter units in a major or area of emphasis, as determined by the community college district. • Obtainment of a minimum grade point average of 2.0. • A grade of \"C\" or better (or \"P\" if the course is taken on a pass/ no pass basis) in all courses required for the major or area of emphasis. Note: Complete either the CSU GE or IGETC general education pattern. Effective Fall 2017, CSU GE Areas A1, A2, A3 and B4 must be completed with a grade of \"C-\" or higher per CSU EO 1100. All courses applied toward IGETC must be completed with a \"C\" or higher per the IGETC Standards.
