This meets the requirement for working in school districts, State and Federally funded preschool programs. These Child Development courses provide information in working with infant and toddler care in a variety of settings. Students who complete this certificate program will be proficient in the methodology of working with infants and toddlers including overview of theories, and application of child development, the development of age appropriate curriculum, ways to observe and record behaviors and classroom management techniques. Program Learning Outcomes: 1. Successfully provide responsive care to infants and toddlers in a developmentally appropriate environment with an anti-bias curriculum. 2. Provide high-quality care for infants and toddlers in programs that comply with licensing and Title V regulations. 3.
