The Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN) program from American Sentinel College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Post University was designed to help RNs pursue the skills needed to make a difference in patient outcomes and their futures. This online RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing program focuses on essential areas of nursing, including management, public health, community health, strategic planning, nursing practice, patient care, and more.Students in the RN to BSN must already be licensed as an RN to be accepted for admission and must maintain an active and unencumbered RN license throughout their enrollment in the program. This program is not designed to fulfill the educational requirements for any licensure or certification. The RN to BSN program is offered in two different modalities (methods of delivery): term-based and SIMPath (competency based). The learning outcomes and level of difficulty are the same for both modalities. The term based RN to BSN program allows students to take courses in a traditional format. The RN to BSN SIMPath is a competency-based approach that allows students to move through each course at their own pace, demonstrating a mastery of skills utilizing an array of methods.Student may also require the following resources or services for completion of the program.  These items are provided by and payable directly to a third party and are not billed by the University to student's accounts.- Shadow Health - $90 to $110- Shadow Health Pharmacology (MSN NP Programs only) - $90 to $110- EHRGo (Nursing degrees) - $45 per 12 weeks- Navigate 2 Scenario for Health Care Finance - $25- 3P Exam Fee (MSN NP Programs only) - $35- Typhon Clinical Tracking (MSN NP Programs only) - $90- SPSS (Business degrees) - $43 for 6 months- Books - $150 per course estimate. Students may purchase used books. Students are not required to purchase books and materials directly from the College.- Costs associated with background checks and clinical requirements: Students enrolling in the RN to BSN/MSN or MSN programs are required to establish a CastleBranch account that collects, tracks, and monitors the documentation required for the practice experiences you will complete during your nursing program. Fees vary by state.- Costs associated with clinical preceptorship: Each student in the MSN - Nurse Practitioner program is required to find their own clinical preceptor. Students struggling to find a clinical preceptor may choose to contract with a company that specializes in finding the nearest available clinical preceptors. Students should understand, however, that there is typically a service fee charged by these companies that is not covered by the Nurse Practitioner Program Clinical Fee.
