The Electromechanical Technology Certificate program allows students to earn a certificate in one year that is focused on the technical knowledge sought by employers both locally and nationally. Students will learn fundamental electrical, mechanical, and programming skills that will provide the strong foundation needed to be an electromechanical technician.\n\nThe program is heavily focused on hands-on learning where students will become proficient in using common electrical diagnostic tools, mechanical assembly tools, and precision measurement equipment to troubleshoot a wide array of electromechanical systems. Basic shop math skills are taught and reinforced throughout the program to provide students with the ability to specify and implement electromechanical systems with confidence. Students will learn to utilize common industrial equipment including pneumatic systems, programmable logic controllers, and motor controllers.  \n\nGraduates of the Electromechanical Technology Certificate program are adequately trained for direct employment in a variety of high demand industries.
