Bachelor of Science (teaching) programs include Communication Arts/Literature and TESL (teaching English as a Second Language) . Program emphases at the graduate (MA and MS) level include college teaching, rhetoric and applied writing, a general emphasis, and an emphasis in TESL. English graduates move into careers in corporate communication, management, technical writing, training, and sales, as well as teaching at the secondary and post-secondary level.
