The PHL\nprogram is taught using a hybrid/blended learning environment.\n\nGraduates will be capable of taking a patient's medical history, performing blood and specimen\ncollections, preparing blood and specimen collections for testing, processing lab specimens, and\nmaintaining lab supplies and equipment. PHL Graduates will demonstrate behaviors consistent\nwith professional standards and will meet employer expectations for an entry-level position.\n\nUpon satisfactory completion of the program graduates will be prepared to take the phlebotomy\ncertification exams offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and the National\nCenter for Competency Testing (NCCT).\n\nAfter completing all program requirements, graduates will be awarded a Phlebotomy Certificate\nof Achievement.\n\nThis program will be delivered using hybrid learning.
