Some students will seek a professional edge before deciding to continue in a more traditional doctoral program. Others wish to develop (or to continue) a career working with images and objects in a particular area of artistic or cultural endeavor. Still others seek to expand their undergraduate training with a combination of work experience and rigorous graduate academic work. If these or other reasons motivate you to learn more about material culture amidst the resources of a world-renowned community of scholars and curators, then we invite you to join us in the Curatorship MA. If you are already enrolled in an IU doctoral program and would like to earn an outside minor in Curatorship, contact us for details."},"ceterms:subjectWebpage":"https://curatorship.iu.edu/","ceterms:credentialStatusType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CredentialStatus","ceterms:targetNode":"credentialStat:Active","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Credential Status"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Active"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Awards of the credential are ongoing."}},"ceterms:learningDeliveryType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/Delivery","ceterms:targetNode":"deliveryType:InPerson","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Delivery Type"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"In-Person Only"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Delivery is only face-to-face."}}],"ceterms:instructionalProgramType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/Default.aspx?y=56","ceterms:targetNode":"https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/cipdetail.aspx?y=56\u0026cip=30.1401","ceterms:codedNotation":"30.1401","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Classification of Instructional Programs"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Museology/Museum Studies"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"A program that focuses on the attitudes, knowledge, and skills required to develop, prepare, organize, administer, conserve, store and retrieve artifacts, exhibits and entire collections in museums and galleries, and that prepares individuals to assume curatorial, technical and managerial positions in museums.
