Students who pass the exams will be authorized to drive any vehicle meeting the Class B Classification as defined by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), including those transporting hazardous materials. Please note that while a Class B license is required to operate certain large vehicles, including those designed to carry 24 or more passengers, a separate (P) endorsement is necessary to legally drive them with people inside and an additional (S) endorsement is required to drive a school bus.
