The Ohio Department of Higher Education\u0026#39;s Transfer and Articulation Policy established the Ohio Transfer 36 (OT36), which is a subset or entire set of a college or university\u0026rsquo;s General Education curriculum in A.A., A.S., and baccalaureate degree programs. Students in applied associate degree programs may complete some individual OT36 courses within their degree program or continue beyond the degree program to complete the entire OT36. The OT36 contains 36 semester hours of course credit in English composition; mathematics, statistics and formal/ symbolic logic; arts/humanities; social and behavioral sciences; and natural sciences. Oral communication and interdisciplinary areas may be included as additional options. Additional elective hours from among these areas make up the total hours for a completed OT36 Courses for the OT36 should be 1000- and 2000-level General Education courses commonly completed in the first two years of a student\u0026rsquo;s course of study. Each state-assisted university, technical and community college is required to establish and maintain an approved OT36. Ohio Transfer 36 provides guaranteed transfer credit for a complete set or subset of general education requirements at an Ohio public college or university once the student is admitted. Students may be required, however, to meet additional General Education Requirements at the institution to which they transfer. For example, a student who completes the OT36 at Institution S (sending institution) and then transfers to Institution R (receiving institution) is said to have completed the OT36 portion of Institution R\u0026rsquo;s General Education program. Institution R, however, may have General Education courses that go beyond its Transfer Module. State policy initially required that all courses in the Transfer Module be completed to receive its benefit in transfer. However, subsequent policy revisions have extended this benefit to the completion of individual OT36 courses on a course-by-course basis. Fulfillment of the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree requirements assures fulfillment of Ohio Transfer 36 requirements. Please Note: Students are responsible for knowing and following all prerequisites. Use the CSCC catalog to identify prerequisites for all courses. According to guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Education, this program is not eligible for federal financial aid."},"ceterms:dateEffective":"2014-08-25","ceterms:estimatedCost":[{"@type":"ceterms:CostProfile","ceterms:name":{"en-US":"Cost Profile"},"ceterms:price":192.93,"ceterms:currency":"US Dollar","ceterms:costDetails":"https://www.cscc.edu/academics/tuition-and-fees/other-academic-fees.shtml","ceterms:description":{"en-US":"The cost of this credential includes tuition (instructional and general fee per credit hour), application, records, and ID fee, technology and facilities fee, online course fee (if applicable), lab fees (if applicable), proficiency examination fee (if applicable), transient student fees (if applicable), and non-traditional credit fee (if applicable)."},"ceterms:directCostType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CostType","ceterms:targetNode":"costType:Tuition","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Cost Type"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Tuition"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Cost for teaching and instruction."}}},{"@type":"ceterms:CostProfile","ceterms:name":{"en-US":"Cost Profile"},"ceterms:price":279.0,"ceterms:currency":"US Dollar","ceterms:costDetails":"https://www.cscc.edu/academics/tuition-and-fees/other-academic-fees.shtml","ceterms:description":{"en-US":"The cost of this credential includes tuition (instructional and general fee per credit hour), application, records, and ID fee, technology and facilities fee, online course fee (if applicable), lab fees (if applicable), proficiency examination fee (if applicable), transient student fees (if applicable), and non-traditional credit fee (if applicable)."},"ceterms:directCostType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CostType","ceterms:targetNode":"costType:EnrollmentFee","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Cost Type"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Enrollment Fee"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Cost to enroll in the learning opportunity being described."}}}],"ceterms:occupationType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://www.onetcenter.org/taxonomy.html","ceterms:targetNode":"https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/25-1199.00","ceterms:codedNotation":"25-1199.00","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Standard Occupational Classification"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Postsecondary Teachers, All Other"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"All postsecondary teachers not listed separately."}}],"ceterms:subjectWebpage":"https://explore.cscc.edu/","ceterms:isPreparationFor":[{"@type":"ceterms:ConditionProfile","ceterms:name":{"en-US":"Preparation for occupation"},"ceterms:description":{"en-US":"This credential is preparation for the following occupation(s)."},"ceterms:targetOccupation":["https://credentialengineregistry.org/resources/ce-ad399bd5-0f8c-4025-ab4e-cf28b224d255"]}],"ceterms:estimatedDuration":[{"@type":"ceterms:DurationProfile","ceterms:exactDuration":"P12M"}],"ceterms:credentialStatusType":{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://credreg.net/ctdl/terms/CredentialStatus","ceterms:targetNode":"credentialStat:Active","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Credential Status"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Active"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"Awards of the credential are ongoing."}},"ceterms:instructionalProgramType":[{"@type":"ceterms:CredentialAlignmentObject","ceterms:framework":"https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/Default.aspx?y=56","ceterms:targetNode":"https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/cipcode/cipdetail.aspx?y=56\u0026cip=15.0501","ceterms:codedNotation":"15.0501","ceterms:frameworkName":{"en-US":"Classification of Instructional Programs"},"ceterms:targetNodeName":{"en-US":"Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering Technology/Technician"},"ceterms:targetNodeDescription":{"en-US":"A program that prepares individuals to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in support of engineers and other professionals engaged in developing and using air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and heating systems.
