During training students have the opportunity to obtain the skills to operate several types of construction equipment including bulldozers, front-end loaders, backhoes, graders, scrapers, rollers and forklifts. Every student has the opportunity to gain proficiency in a variety of functions on various pieces of equipment. In addition, students are taught how to read and set grade stakes to assist in project engineering. Classroom-related education is incorporated into hands-on training, with a heavy emphasis on safety.
