The classroom experience is enhanced by on-site practical applications in our plumbing and electrical labs and other electrical or plumbing construction projects in the area. In addition, students have a hands-on introduction to applications in solar and wind renewable energy, energy conservation, HVAC, blueprint reading, and electrical \u0026 plumbing HVAC system design.\n\nThis program can alternatively be completed in one year, though credentials available may require participation for two years.\n\nThis program includes the following credential(s): National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) - Construction Core, Electrical 1, and Plumbing 1 \u00262. Students also may choose to earn apprenticeship hours toward either a Vermont Electrician Registered Apprenticeship or a Vermont Plumbing Registered Apprenticeship.
