Students are encouraged to experiment and cross boundaries between media as they learn design principles and basic skills through work in a variety of two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and time-based media.\n\nAll students must complete the W.A.S.H. (Workshop in Art Studio and History) upon entering the Art Program and pass a BFA portfolio review in their sophomore year in order to continue in the BFA program.\n\nThe Studio Art Program requires students to choose between a 2-D or 3-D track and then allows them to focus on the medium of their choice, including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, or video and performance art.
