Graduates of the program are eligible to apply for nurse practitioner certification by the appropriate credentialing body. \n\nPrimary Care Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization is offered online with onsite components. Opportunities for development of critical thinking and clinical problem-solving skills are provided throughout the program through the guidance of student selected, university approved preceptors at clinical sites in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, and in areas of Illinois and Michigan bordering Indiana.\n\nThis online program is rapid and rigorous. Practicum courses offer students the opportunity to develop and integrate the knowledge and skills necessary for evidence-based advanced practice.
