Each of these highly technical and highly integrated systems demand technicians that possess a substantial background in electronic systems and diagnostic procedures.\n\nOCC's Automotive Technology certificate program allows students to earn an 1-year certificate while training on the latest computer-based diagnostic test instrumentation. Basic and specialized automotive courses will help students develop a solid foundation in this fast-paced field. Students will actively participate in hands-on instruction and repair procedures in a laboratory setting. Comprehensive instruction in mathematics, the sciences, and liberal arts allow students to develop the diverse skills necessary for advancement in this exciting field.\n\nGraduates of the Automotive Technology program are adequately trained to seek employment in related automotive fields.
