The program includes dedicated preparation for the EPA Section 608 Universal Certification examination.\n\nInstruction is delivered through a blend of classroom theory (47%) and hands-on laboratory practice (53%) using operational HVAC/R training systems in a dedicated lab facility. Students learn to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems using industry-standard tools, test instruments, and diagnostic procedures.\n\nUpon completion, graduates are prepared to pursue employment as HVAC/R service technicians, installation technicians, or maintenance technicians. No prior HVAC/R experience is required. Admission requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum age of 18.
